I am an experienced professional with a passion for engagement and empowerment. The essence of my work is to support my clients in making real and sustainable change in the workplace. When working individually or with a group I continually aim to strike the right balance between empathy and in nudging clients beyond their comfort zones. And - just as importantly - I work to infuse lightness and fun into all learning situations.
I qualified as a coach in 2005 and have run my own coaching and training business since 2006 – initially on a part-time basis and since January 2010 full-time - and since then have supported individual clients and groups in large, small and non-profit organisations on a wide range of issues.
My focus and style reflects my own passions and experience. I am passionate about the business world and have a deep experience of demanding and results-driven business environments. I am also a long-time practitioner of yoga and meditation - both of which grow our ability to be in the present moment. And it is in the present moment that real creativity happens - that a-ha moment. It is my experience that learning is most powerful when there is both a firm focus on results and when I can facilitate my clients in accessing their deeper creativity.
Before becoming self-employed I worked for a number of research institutes and consultancies in the UK and the Netherlands, most recently (from 2000 until the end of 2009) for the Boston Consulting Group. I am fluent in English and Dutch and can get by well in French.
I am based in the South West of England and work with clients in the UK, across Europe, and beyond.
